Seven caterers, ranked by current Google rating. Los Angeles County wedding and event caterers almost always quote off-script — "customized," they'll tell you, until you call. We looked for the seven that publish something concrete instead: a tiered wedding menu, an itemized drop-off price list, a venue rental sheet, or a tasting policy, rather than quote-only pricing alone. Ratings were read directly from each business's Google Business Profile on October 13, 2026.

Pricing format varies as much as geography here. TGIS Catering Services publishes corporate meal tiers from $11.25 to $26.95 per person and quotes weddings separately; Bite Catering Couture and Chef Dora Presents each publish fixed wedding tiers ($46–$220 and $38–$75 per person); Catering by Emuna prices a roughly 100-item menu with $9.50–$22 entrées; Luxe Bites prices grazing boards and platters from $105 to $1,045; and Anoush Catering and Heirloom LA both quote full-service weddings custom, with Heirloom LA's own materials putting that range at $200–$400 per person.
Credentials vary as widely as price. TGIS Catering Services holds two International Caterers Association ACE awards for Best Catered Wedding and Best Catered Micro Event; Bite Catering Couture carries a Food Network Challenge silver medal and a Long Beach Heritage Award; Anoush Catering is a four-time winner of The Knot's Best of Weddings award, enough for its Hall of Fame; Catering by Emuna holds Orthodox Union Glatt Kosher certification; and Heirloom LA has drawn press coverage from the New York Times, the Hollywood Reporter and the late Jonathan Gold.
Coverage follows the caterer, not the county. These seven are spread across Long Beach, Los Angeles, Hawthorne, Torrance and Glendale, and several operate or are tied to their own venues — TGIS runs five venues outright, Bite Catering Couture operates 440 Elm in Long Beach, Chef Dora Presents has its own Palos Verdes venue, and Anoush is the exclusive caterer at two L.A. Banquets properties. Confirm a caterer actually serves your venue, and whether that venue restricts outside catering, before booking.

What to ask before you book
- What's the guest minimum, and does it change by service style? Drop-off, buffet and fully-staffed service often carry different minimums from the same business.
- Is there a tasting, and is the fee credited back if you book? Several LA County caterers charge a tasting fee up front — ask whether it's applied toward your final bill or billed separately.
- If your venue has an exclusive or preferred caterer list, is this business on it — or does the venue allow outside caterers for a fee? A caterer who also operates its own venue may apply the reverse restriction if you book their venue but not their food.
Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should I book a wedding caterer in LA County?
Popular dates at in-demand venues can book out six to twelve months ahead; asking your top choices about their current booking window is a reasonable first call.
What's a typical per-person cost for wedding catering here?
Based on what these seven caterers publish, buffet-style wedding menus start around $38–$46 per person, and fully-staffed service can run from roughly $75 up to $400 per person depending on format, bar service, and staffing level.
Can I do a tasting before I book?
Several of these caterers offer tastings, sometimes for a fee that's credited toward your final bill if you book — ask about cost, lead time, and whether it's available on your preferred days.
What if my venue requires its own exclusive caterer, or won't allow outside catering?
Ask early — some venues, including ones a couple of these caterers operate themselves, restrict catering to an approved list or charge a buyout fee for bringing in an outside caterer.
