Catering by Emuna is a Hawthorne-based caterer (13020 Yukon Ave) that has built a large institutional catering practice, with named clients including Ralphs, Kroger, the LA Convention Center, Staples Center, UCLA Health, and in-flight catering work for several international airlines.
The business holds Orthodox Union (OU) Glatt Kosher certification, documented in a letter of certification published on its own site and signed by two OU Rabbinic Administrators (Rabbi Menachem Genack and Rabbi Moshe Elefant), dated December 17, 2025 and valid through December 31, 2026. The certification covers its catering, institutional-meal, grab-and-go and airline-meal lines at its Hawthorne facility, each listed at Glatt, Pareve or Dairy status. Alongside its general catering menu, the business also publishes dedicated Shabbat and Passover catering menus.
Its published menu runs to roughly 100 line items with set pricing: corporate sandwiches from $10.50 to $12.50, hot entrées from $9.50 to $22, and party platters from $55 to $150. A separate breakfast catering menu prices fresh fruit platters at $65 (serving 10), egg dishes from $7.50 to $8.50 per tray, bagels with cream cheese at $6, and a full breakfast spread with delivery, cutlery and coffee service available for a per-item fee. Orders carry a 10-guest minimum across the menu and a published $45 delivery fee per trip.
Catering by Emuna doesn't publish a dedicated wedding page, but its own site states directly that it caters "a wide range of events, including corporate functions, weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, hotel events, film and television productions... private parties, and special gatherings" — stronger, first-party confirmation than the wedding-specific customer reviews already on file (including a fully customized wedding welcome party). It also names a service area reaching beyond Hawthorne to Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Pasadena, Orange County and "across Southern California." Expect a custom quote built from its existing menu and pricing structure rather than a published wedding package.
OU-certified Glatt Kosher institutional and corporate caterer with a ~100-item priced menu ($9.50–$22 entrées, $55–$150 platters), 10-guest minimum, serving weddings and private events alongside corporate clients.
We recently used Catering by Emuna for our Thanksgiving turkey, and it was, simply put, perfection — super juicy and flavorful. The accompanying stuffing and cranberry sauce were both fantastic.
They made perhaps the best tasting baba ghanoush I have ever had, and I have probably tried baba ghanoush from 50+ restaurants around the world.
We ordered a turkey from them and it was honestly one of the best we've ever had. The rice stuffing inside was truly the most delicious we've ever tasted!
