Taco Tuesday is a San Diego taco truck that caters events, trading under a line it puts at the top of its own site: Where everyday is Taco Tuesday.
The menu is narrow and specific. Eight tacos are named — fish, shrimp, grilled chicken, steak, carnitas, adobada, Aztec and mushroom medley — and each one is described down to its garnish, from the cabbage chiffonade and white cream sauce on the battered white fish to the spicy guac aioli on the steak. The Aztec taco is carnitas under cactus sauteed with onion, pepper and garlic. Mulitas come in five fillings, melted with cheese between two tortillas. The site states that all tacos are made with fresh handmade corn tortillas.
Catering is the business, not a sideline — the site's own headline is an invitation to let the truck cater your next event. What it does not do is quote: We cater special events, contact us for pricing and details, is the whole of the published commercial detail. There are no packages, no per-person figures, no guest minimum, no lead time and no stated service area beyond San Diego. Booking is by phone; the site publishes no email address and no enquiry form.
Most catering requests sit unanswered — we make sure yours doesn't.
